Week 1 (July 14-18): The great outdoors
The great outdoors theme will foster an appreciation for nature and teach vital life skills like problem-solving, creativity, reflection, and connection. Activities this week will include collecting natural materials to create art pieces that encourage creativity and exploration of textures, colours, and shapes in nature.
These nature-themed arts and crafts activities aid in developing children's fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. A walk to the Grand River will provide teachable moments on the significance of spending time outdoors.
Week 2 (July 21-25): Art party
Our Art party week will foster creativity, and exploration for children through art. We'll explore multiple creative techniques that make art fun! Get ready to get messy!
We will be exploring art with fun activities such as syringe painting, balloon art, puffy art paint, and so much more!
Week 3 (July 28-Aug 1) - STEM fest
The action-packed week of science, technology, engineering, and math adventures! Our STEM week is designed to spark curiosity and inspire young minds. This week will offer hands-on experiments in a safe and engaging learning environment and activities such as build tall toothpick towers, dancing raisin experiment, engineer a helping prostehteic using recycled materials
Week 4 (Aug 5-Aug 8) - Starbucks week
Perfect for young Starbucks fans. Join us for a fun-filled week of Starbucks-themed activities and games! Campers will enjoy creative challenges like designing their own café cups, playing café-inspired team games, and participating in scavenger hunts! If you love Starbucks, you do not want to miss out on barista imaginative play, and launching your own new Starbucks drink!
Week 5 (Aug 11-15) - Welcome to the jungle
This week will offer campers a thrilling experience with imaginative play, wildlife exploration, and creative activities like mask-making and animal charades.
We will educate campers on jungle ecosystems and nurturing an appreciation for nature's harmony. The theme also imparts important lessons on consent and personal space, emphasizing respect and safety in interactions with animals.
Week 6 (Aug 18-22) - The grand carnival
The Welcome to the Great Carnival where games, laughter, and excitement come together for an awesome camp experience! We're transforming our campground into a vibrant carnival filled with all your favourite activities like face painting, karaoke, and ring toss. Bring your friends, bring your energy, and get ready for a week of laughter and fun. Let the carnival magic begin!
During Astronaut camp week, kids will discover the exciting world of space exploration through fun and interactive activities. This week offers a chance for young space enthusiasts to learn about astronaut life and space science in an engaging, hands-on environment. We will also be running a child-friendly space astronaut training!!
